Upcoming Meetings Women’s Group - Every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Executive Committee, Wednesday, November 1, at 7:00 P.M. Weekly Offerings Offerings and other cash receipts for the week ending September 24 were $1,492.00. The costs for each week are $1,438.46 (derived by dividing the annual budget by 52 weeks). Altar Guild Brenda Dansingburg and Jean Eggleston are the Altar Guild people during the month of October. Coffee Hour A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served. Reformation Sunday, October 22, 2017 On Reformation Sunday, Rev. Bruce Bishop will dedicate gifts to the church that have been made in the past year. Members and friends of the church also have the opportunity to present monetary gifts in memory or in honor of individuals. A dedication form is provided in this week’s bulletin. To be included in the bulletin for Reformation Sunday, all gifts should be made out to the United Church of Ludlow and be in the church office by Tuesday, October 17 or sooner. For more information, you can speak with Anne Oakes, Receiver of Offerings. Annual Meeting – Sunday, November 12 The Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 12 after the service of worship. For all of those responsible for submitting reports, kindly email them to Sandra Russo by October 31st or sooner. [email protected] and also to my home email [email protected] 2017-2018 Offering Envelopes They are available on the table as you pick up your bulletin. Estimates of Giving relate to the general operational budget and the building fund. They are a great help to the Executive Committee as it prepares the 2017-2018 budget. Please submit them as soon as possible. Readers for Christmas Eve We are looking for volunteers for Readers' Theater on Christmas Eve which is on Sunday evening this year. At this time, Bruce Bishop has offered to lead us in worship on Sunday morning, Dec. 24 at 10:15 A.M. (our regular time) We are seeking volunteers to participate in a Readers' Theater for the Christmas Eve evening service and if we have enough people interested in helping with this, then we can move forward.
