Scenes from Wild Church, August 2023
On Sunday, August 27, we celebrated Wild Church on a mountaintop property owned by one of our members in Plymouth, Vermont. Worship was celebrated with creation in the style of the Wild Church Network (there are 140 churches in the network throughout the U.S. and Canada) reconnecting spiritually to God and each other in beloved community. After a Native American Land Acknowledgement, Opening Prayer, Scripture and nature-themed songs (some even danced to Siyahamba), people wandered in the natural surroundings connecting with and contemplating God's creation, then came back to the circle and shared their experiences. We hope to make this an annual event!
