Cathy Fullenwider, Organist Today will mark the last Sunday that Cathy will be serving as the organist. All of us at United Church of Ludlow want to thank her for being our organist since November 6, 2016 to the present. We wish her well in the future as she continues to use the gift of music in service to our Lord and Savior. A new organist will be introduced on June 24. Weekly Offerings Offerings and other cash receipts for the week of June 10 were $941.00. The costs for each week are $1,155.00 (derived by dividing the annual budget by 52 weeks). Coffee Hour A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served. Altar Guild Jean Eggleston and Linda Alexander will do the Altar Guild duties for the month of June. Peony Pie Party Sunday, June 17 1pm - whenever the pie runs out Peplau's Happy Acres Farm 826 Twenty Mile Stream Road S. Reading, VT 484-7806 All are invited to come and enjoy a piece (or two) of homemade pie as you wandering through the Peony Garden. There are over 100 plants in the garden and many of them are in full bloom at this time. We love to share the beauty of these flowers with others. And, if the peonies are of no interest to you, well, the pies seem to go over pretty well. Call Jim and Sandy if you need directions to the farm. If you can bring your own lawn chair, that would be helpful. A tent will be set up for some shade. See you this Sunday. Plymouth Strawberry Festival Wednesday, June 20 from 5-7 pm Plymouth State Park - Free Admission Enjoy a summer BBQ with homemade salads and old fashioned strawberry shortcake.
