VALENTINE’S DAY DINNER The Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner will again be held on Friday, February 12 at the Landgrove Inn. This has been a well-attended tradition over the years. To get started, we need to know the number of people who wish to attend. This joyful event is for everyone; you just need to be yourself, not part of a couple. Typically there is a choice of entree; the meals are great as are the desserts. At this point we just need to know names and numbers so that negotiations on specifics can go forward with the inn keepers. Please contact David Almond or Bob Kottkamp if interested. Hearts Project at the United Church For the next four Wednesdays (starting January 13), Nancy Hagge will be at the church from 9:30 A.M. to about 4:30 P.M. to organize the Hearts Project for this year. If you would like to come and help with this project, you are welcome to join her and others. Some people will be sewing, some people will be cutting fabric and others will be filling the hearts with stuffing. And still others can come and collect hearts to be worked on at your home if you prefer. All hearts will need to be finished by the end of January so we can distribute them on Feb. 7th after church. We are also looking for homes to place the hearts. If you have a suggestion of a family that has not received hearts in the past, let Sandy Peplau know and we shall put them on the list. If you have questions, feel free to contact Nancy or Sandy. Comments are closed.
