Offerings and other cash receipts for the week of September 25 were $2,695.00.
The costs for each week are $1,438.46 (derived by dividing the annual budget
by 52 weeks).
Altar Guild
Jean Eggleston and Brenda Dansingburg will share the Altar Guild duties for
the month of October.
Coffee Hour
A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall.
Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served.
2016-2017 Offering Envelopes
They are available on the table as you pick up your bulletin.
Estimates of Giving relate to the general operational budget and the building fund.
They are a great help to the Executive Committee as it prepares the 2017-2018 budget.
Please submit them as soon as possible.
Readers for Christmas Eve
We are looking for volunteers for Readers' Theater on Christmas Eve which is on
Sunday evening this year.
At this time, Bruce Bishop has offered to lead us in worship on Sunday morning,
Dec. 24 at 10:15 A.M. (our regular time)
We are seeking volunteers to participate in a Readers' Theater for the
Christmas Eve evening service and if we have enough people interested in
helping with this, then we can move forward.
Otherwise, we may not have an evening service. If you can help, please be
in touch with Sandy Peplau at hpyacres@gmail.com or 484-7806. Thank you.
Reformation Sunday, October 22, 2017
On Reformation Sunday, Rev. Bruce Bishop will dedicate gifts to the church that
have been made in the past year.
Members and friends of the church also have the opportunity to present monetary
gifts in memory or in honor of individuals. A dedication form is provided in this
week’s bulletin.
To be included in the bulletin for Reformation Sunday, all gifts should be made
out to the United Church of Ludlow and be in the church office by Tuesday, October 17th.

Annual Meeting – Sunday, November 12
The Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 12 after the service of worship.
For all of those responsible for submitting reports, kindly email them to Sandra Russo

BRGNS Stick Season Social – Sunday, November 5 at 1:00 P.M.
The Black River Good Neighbor Services is holding its annual
Stick Season Social fundraiser on Sunday, November 5 at the
Round House on Okemo Mountain.
Doors open for the silent auction and raffle at noon; the buffet brunch begins at
1:00 PM.
Advance ticket sales are important for determining the number of meals
BRGNS will purchase.
Lee Potter and Bob Kottkamp will serve as ticket agents.
Tickets may also be purchased at the Thrift Store and Food Shelf in the
Agan Memorial Building. Ticket cost is $50.00.
BRGNS is one of the Church's two major benevolence recipients.
