On Sunday, August 27, the members of the United Church of Ludlow celebrated Wild Church on a mountain top property owned by one of their members in Plymouth, Vermont.
Worship was celebrated with creation in the style of the Wild Church Network (there are 140 churches in the network throughout the U.S. and Canada) reconnecting spiritually to God and each other in beloved community. After a Native American Land Acknowledgement, Opening Prayer, Scripture and song (some even danced to Siyahamba), people wandered in the natural surroundings connecting with and contemplating God's creation, then came back to the circle and shared their experiences. The hope is to make this an annual event.
