Upcoming Meetings/Events -Women’s Group - Every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. -Executive Committee -Wednesday, October 24, 7:00 p.m. -Reformation Sunday, Dedication of Gifts – October 28 -Deacons’ Meeting – October 28 following service of worship in Ladies Parlor Weekly Offerings Offerings and other cash receipts for the week ending October 14 were $$938.00. The costs for each week are $1,155.00. (derived by dividing the annual budget by 52 weeks). Altar Guild Jean Eggleston and Linda Alexander will do the Altar Guild duties for the month of October. Special thanks to Laura Caravatt for her beautiful flower arrangements. Coffee Hour A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served. Windham-Union Association Fall Meeting The Windham-Union Association Fall Meeting will be held at Centre Congregational Church, Brattleboro, VT on Sunday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. There will be a short business meeting followed by a presentation from the Reverend Scott Couper about the UCC Global Ministries. All are invited to attend to learn more about the church’s outreach to various parts of the world. Reformation Sunday, October 28th On Reformation Sunday October 28th, Rev. Harpster will dedicate gifts to the church that have been made in the past year. Members and friends of the church also have the opportunity to present monetary gifts in memory or in honor of individuals. A dedication form is provided below. To be included in the bulletin for Reformation Sunday, all gifts should be made out to the United Church of Ludlow and be in the church office by Wednesday, October 24th.
