Regarding Individuals in the Hospital or Sick at Home It would be greatly appreciated if you know of individuals or family members in the hospital or sick at home, to kindly inform the pastor, Rev. Harpster. Upcoming Meetings/Events -Women’s Group - Every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. -Executive Committee on June 26, 2019 - 6:30 P.M. Weekly Offerings Offerings and other cash receipts for the week ending June 16 were $1,864.00, Discretionary Fund $331.00 totaling $2,195.00. The costs for each week are $1,188.00 (derived by dividing the annual budget by 52 weeks). Altar Guild Jean Eggleston and Linda Alexander will do the Altar Guild duties for the month of June. Coffee Hour A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served. Microphone for Announcements When you wish to make an announcement, please indicate your intention by raising your hand and someone will come to you with a microphone. To work effectively, the microphone needs to be held very close...within an inch of your mouth. We are very lucky to have the microphones available so that everyone can hear important announcements. Do not be bashful in using them! Deacon’s Discretionary Fund Every once in a while, someone is in need of a little financial support. Years ago, the Deacons started a Discretionary Fund just for the purpose of helping others in need. Recently we have had several requests for assistance and have used this fund to help friends and neighbors in need. So, for the month of June, there will be an envelope in your bulletin that says: Deacons Discretionary Fund. If you would like to give to this fund, please just put your donation in the marked envelope and put it in the offering plate. Any questions just see me. Thank you…Laura Lienhard Annual Church Picnic – Sunday, August 4 The annual church picnic at the Thomson’s (131 Thomson Drive) will be on Sunday, August 4, rain or shine, starting after fellowship time. As usual, we will provide the meat for grilling and ask folks to bring something to share…appetizers, salad, desert etc. If you have any special drink requests, we ask that you bring that along too! Come prepared to have fun. We have a beautiful lake to swim in, kayaks, canoes a rowboat a paddle boat, lawn games and chairs to sit and just relax. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
