Jean will take care of the altar and Laura will display her beautiful flowers. Coffee Hour A time of fellowship following the service of worship is held in the social hall. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served. Learn to Serve Communion For the next three months on the first Sunday of the month, there will be a "Shadowing Sunday" for those of you who want to learn how to serve communion. Come see the process of serving communion from start to finish. If interested, be at the church on Sunday, August 4, at 9:45 AM. We have the servers; you will just be watching the process. Hymn Sing The church will hold a hymn sing on Sunday, July 28 during the regular worship hour at 10:15 AM. Take some time during the upcoming weeks to reflect on your favorites and which hymns you would like the congregation to sing. Women’s Group - Luncheon and Tag Sale The United Church Women will have their annual tag sale and luncheon on Saturday, August 24. Please look for items to donate to the tag sale. A sign-up sheet is in the front hall for help with both of these events. Help is needed most of the day. Congregational Singing Practice Occasional choir singers and members of the congregation who would like to "go over" the music for a Sunday service should come up to the organ before 9:50 AM, with hymnal in hand, when Ed is on duty. However, he is usually on New Hampshire organ benches on the third Sunday of each month. Comments are closed.
