Who Are We?

The United Church of Ludlow (United Church of Christ and United Methodist) is a small, open, vibrant, and welcoming congregation in Ludlow, Vermont, serving residents and visitors to the Okemo Valley. We pride ourselves as a church serving all, no matter what gender, economic circumstance, race, ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We are a UCC Open and Affirming Congregation and a UMC Reconciling Congregation. We are here for you.

We worship at 10 AM on Sundays, in person and on Zoom, and offer a Coffee Hour for fellowship after service. We look for opportunities to "Be Church" together, so check in for more offerings.

No matter who you are or where you are in your life and faith journey, you are welcome here!

Here's What's Happening at the United Church of Ludlow!

Stuffed Shells to Stuff

 Hungry Children's Bellies!

The United Church of Ludlow is hosting a dinner to fight world hunger on Sat., Nov. 22, in Fellowship Hall, with help from the Ludlow Rotary and the Okemo Valley Women's Club. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, as we're all thinking about what we are thankful for and preparing to stuff our own bellies, let's take an evening to help those in need.

We Are a Disaster Hub!

NBC-5 recently broadcast a story about the United Church of Ludlow's new Disaster Hub! Read the story and see the report here.  The Disaster Hub was also featured in the Vermont Journal.

The United Church raised funds and received a $3,000 grant from the Vermont Conference of the United Church of Christ to purchase materials for at least 30 buckets and related materials so that we will become a complete disaster hub. While we hope the supplies will not be needed soon, we will be prepared to get them where they are needed should that need arise.

Stewardship Theme:

Hope for the Future

Picture
We are conducting our annual stewardship campaign this month to help the United Church of Ludlow's Executive Board budget for 2026. Each Sunday, you will hear people share, about what stewardship means to them and to our church. Our aspirational 2026 budget is projected to increase 12.5%. As we project an increase in our church’s expenses next year, we hope you will prayerfully consider how much you can support our growing ministry.

Learn more here about what the United Church accomplished in 2025 and what we plan for 2026! Pledge commitments are due on Nov. 23, Stewardship Sunday.

We Are Collecting Food

 for Local Needs, too!

Picture
The United Church of Ludlow is collecting food and donating it to Black River Good Neighbor to help those losing SNAP benefits because of the government shutdown. We're also seeking warm clothes for the winter in all sizes. Feel free to bring them by the church on Sunday morning between 930 and 1130! Your neighbors in need will thank you.

That means we welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and all marginalized people into the full life of the church. Including you!
