Who We Are

Historically we are a federated church of Congregationalists (UCC) and United Methodists. Today’s congregation consists of Christians with Congregational and Methodist roots and many who in the past pursued faith journeys in Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Baptist, Reformed, Roman Catholic and other traditions. Truly, all are welcome.
Some of us are Nth generation Vermonters. Many of us lived elsewhere, but Vermont attracted us through its marvelous features, life orientation, and skiing. We stay because we value what we find here. Many of us work here; and many of us are retired.
Collectively we have lots of energy and enthusiasm; we are active; we are doers. We worship and sing heartily. We participate widely in the broader community. We deeply enjoy each other’s fellowship and love to share food together. We reach out to welcome visitors and new residents. Truly, all are welcome here!
