 Deacon's Discretionary Fund
Every once in a while someone is in need of a little financial support.

Years ago the Deacons started a Discretionary Fund just for the purpose of helping others in need. Recently we have had several requests for assistance and have used this fund to help friends and neighbors in need.

So for the month of June, there will be an envelope in your bulletin that says: Deacons Discretionary Fund.

If you would like to give to this fund, please just put your donation in the marked envelope and put it in the offering plate.

Any questions just see me.
Thank you…Laura Lienhard

Please join us this Monday 5/27, for a very special Memorial Day parade in Ludlow to welcome home our Vietnam Veterans and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the American Legion.
The parade kicks off at 9 A.M.  Come support the 7 veterans from our church who are marching.  Rev. Harpster will join the other local clergy to lead the parade and give the prayer at the wreath ceremony at the bridge in honor of Navy and Coast Guard veterans lost at sea.  There’ll be a service at the green which will include local students and veterans and then a short walk to the cemetery for the moving unknown soldier ceremony with taps.

There will be a delicious potluck luncheon at the American Legion Post 36 on Main St. immediately afterwards.  Please join and bring your favorite dish, dessert or snack.
All are welcome!
